Whatever things you are doing, do them well. Remember that you are serving the Lord . You are not only serving people.

Colossians 3:23 EASY

Those who fear God, will be just and faithful even when from their earthly Master’s eye because they know they are under the eye of God and do all with dillligence, not slothfully; cheerfully, not discontented at the providence of God who put them in that relation. To do things well, means to put in all your best in all you do knowing that, It is God who promotes and exalts them that please him

When Joseph was tempted by Zuleikha (Mrs. Potiphar),  he made it clear to her that, he wasn’t serving his Master alone but God – Genesis 39:9 ( _No one has more authority in this house than I do. My master keeps nothing from me, except you. That is because you are his wife. I could not do such a bad thing. I could not do a sin that is against God.’)_. Joseph knew the Lord was with him and did not falter in his undertaking. The Lord demonstrated His presence around Joseph by blessing the household of Potiphar – Genesis 39:5. Joseph, though he went through trials and was jailed, he remained dutiful to the end. God therefore, rewarded him by making him great in the land of Egypt. There is always a rewarded for them that serve God well and do His will.

Beloved, as we journey through this month of new beginnings, may God strengthen your hands to do things well and also, cause His goodness and mercy not to depart from you. Amen 

Prayer

Father in Heaven, lift me up and put me where I belong. Deliver me from evil and show me your goodness. Amen.
