Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you – James 4:7 KJV

We do no wrestle against flesh and blood but I against principalities and powers in high places but the wonderful thing is, we have the inherent power to resist the enemy. To resist the devil means to withstand the plots and plans of the wicked one. Many Christians are ignorant of this and the enemy is taking advantage of them – 2 Corinthians 2:11

Many have given the enemy the chance to encroach on their finances, health, businesses, marriages and even snatched their children into darkness and they just stand by and watch. They watch without putting their resisting power to work and the evil one is not sparing them. They give up hope and say they leave it to God. It is very wrong to do that as a child of God. 

Beloved, to be able to resist means you have to first submit to God. To submit means to accept or yield to God or to the authority or will of God. Jesus was able to cast out demons and rebuke fever because he always submitted himself to God – Luke 4:39. As child of God, you are like a bulb that is not connect to power. You cannot glow in darkness but when you submit to God, he will give you the power to will glow even in darkness. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and resist the works of the evil one over your finances, womb, job etc. Take your stand, take charge, rise up and resist the devil. May God, empower you. Amen!

Prayer 

Father, I bless your name for the wonderful things you are doing in my life and what you are still doing in my life.  I thank you for giving me power over the works of the enemy. Strengthen me to resist the plots of the enemy in the name of Jesus.
