In the streets of Qatar’s capital, Doha, many citizens took to the streets to express their joy after the final whistle of the AFC Asian Cup blew on Friday, making the Maroons winner of the continental football tournament.

Qatar won 3-1 over four-time winners Japan in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Maroons are expected back in Qatar on Saturday.

This is a great history for Qatar’s Football Association and the nation as a whole. Mentiasie-Sports congratulates the entire team for their efforts and wishes them well.
