The Agona Asafo in the Agona East District of the Central region has recorded a sad event of a 15-year-old Junior High School (JHS) graduate who has committed suicide by hanging due to wrong placement of his school of choice.

Isaac Yaw Arhin, completed Junior High School(JHS) in Tema with aggregate 20. According to the family of the deceased he chose schools in the Central region but instead he was placed in Eastern region

by the computer selection School Placement System (CSSPS).

Due to the inability of the family of the deceased to buy items needed to enable him to attend school, his father suggested to him to learn tailoring of which he(deceased) declined.

Due to these reasons; a family member came later to find the lifeless body of the boy hanging in the room.

The matter was then reported to the Agona Swedru District Police Command, of the which the body was retrieved from the scene and deposited at the Swedru Municipal Government Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
