The African Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Popularly known on stage as Shatta Wale; has released the most anticipating video ‘Island’. The hit song has gained popularity across the Globe as well as making its way on world reggae charts and Jamaican top music charts. 

Concept: In the video, Shatta Wale got drowned and was lying at the shores of the sea. Some pretty ladies spotted him, saved him and he later ‘chilled’ (had fun) with them on his Island.

Some gurus of the Reggae/Dancehall fraternity like Vybz Kartel , Gramps Morgan among others have showed their appreciation and love for the hit song ‘Island’. Shatta Wale is making Ghana proud and may God continue to bless him with more hit songs.
