President Akufo-Addo resumes work today after 14days of self isolation.

The president of Ghana Akufo-Addo is set to resume work on Monday, July 20, after self-isolating for a period of time.

In a press briefing, the Minister of information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah disclosed this to journalists. The self isolation was due to  “at least one person within his close circle tested positive for Covid-19.”

On the 4th of July, the president tested negative to Covid19 but further “elected to take this measure out of the abundance of caution,” he said.

Last Sunday, the president was seen in a Facebook Livestream via Zoom interacting with some members of his party. Mr Oppong Nkrumah revealed that “president Akufo-Addo is ‘hale and hearty as he continues to work from the Presidential Villa.”

We pray God protects the president and directs his path.
