It is described as False Experiences Appearing Real.

Fear is crippling! Fear ridicules! Fear is a liar!

Fear can stop you from achieving your goals, from living your dreams, from taking your place. Fear is the devil’s favourite weapon. He uses it to deceive, to weaken and to conquer. Fear controls, pulls you to hiding and keeps you where you should have left.
Fear is in various forms: fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear for the future, even fear of success!

Fear is human experience, but it isn’t okay to allow it oppress you.
It is a thing of the mind, perception and belief; and it can be logical! Fear has got power.

Job said, “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.”
(Job 3:25 NIV)
It’s like magnet and can attract.

Don’t allow it cripple you. Don’t allow it define you. Don’t allow it suppress you. Don’t allow it limit you.

The lyrics of an age-old hymn comes to mind:
We have an ANCHOR that keeps the soul. Stedfast and sure while the billows roll.
Fastened to the rock which cannot move. Grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s Love.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

FAITH is the antidote to FEAR.
