Some parts of Ghana have experienced earth tremor. The incident happened about 10:40pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
The earth tremor occurred in some parts of Accra as well other regions in Ghana.
Some of the affected areas include Dzorwulu, Darkuman, Adabraka, Spintex, Dansoman, Lapaz, Achimota, Tesano, Santa Maria, Gbawe, Weija, Madina, Kwabenya, Nsawam, Koforidua, Swedru among others.
Prince Bediako, a resident of Dzorwulu explained to Mentiasie News that he experienced the earth tremor three times.
“It started around 10:40 pm. I was in my room When I heard a loud sound followed by movements. I felt it because the chair I was sitting on had moved. After a few minutes, the same thing happened but this time around, the sound and the vibration was louder; it was there that I knew something was happening. I came out of my room only to see that the whole Dzorwulu community was out on the streets. It was quiet scary because we thought the world had come to an end’.
