In line with its commitment to community empowerment, Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect has once again demonstrated that true impact begins at the grassroots level.

On Sunday, 18th May 2025, the initiative extended financial support to Madam Olivia Vanderpuje, a hardworking widow and mother of three who trades in Accra to provide for her family.
A Mother’s Determination
Madam Olivia earns a living by selling charcoal and any goods she can access to trade. She operates around Makola, CMB, and the central business district of Accra — busy commercial hubs where survival depends on resilience and consistency.
As a widow solely responsible for three children, her small-scale trading business remains the primary source of income for her household. Despite the daily challenges of street trading, she continues to persevere for the sake of her children’s future.
A Timely Intervention
Understanding her situation and determination, Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect provided her with GHS 400 to strengthen her business.
Madam Olivia expressed heartfelt gratitude and shared her plan to invest the entire amount into purchasing raincoats. With the rainy season ongoing, she intends to sell them around Makola, CMB, and nearby business areas — a strategic move expected to increase her sales and income.
This support represents more than financial assistance; it is a stepping stone toward stability and growth.
Leadership Behind the Initiative
The Mentiasie brand was founded by Isaac Yaw Gyampoh, popularly known as Jahkrow. His vision for Mentiasie extends beyond business into meaningful social impact, driven by a passion to uplift individuals and strengthen communities.
At the forefront of Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect is its dedicated CEO, Gladys Quaye, a banker by profession. With her strong background in finance and leadership, Mrs. Gladys Quaye heads the WaterWeb Connect team and oversees its outreach and empowerment activities.
She personally presented the support to Madam Olivia, reinforcing the organization’s hands-on approach and genuine commitment to the people it serves. Her involvement reflects responsible leadership and a deep desire to ensure that assistance reaches those who truly need it.
Empowering Lives, One Family at a Time
The story of Madam Olivia Vanderpuje is a testament to the power of compassion backed by action. Through the vision of its founder and the leadership of its CEO, Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect continues to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to families across communities.
Madam Olivia and her children extend their sincere appreciation to the founder, the CEO, and the entire Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect team for this timely and life-changing support.
Long Live Mentiasie WaterWeb Connect.
May God richly bless this noble initiative for transforming lives and strengthening communities. 🙏
